Dual Enrollment

Shepherd University

Students attending a high school in Jefferson County may be enrolled in both high school and college at the same time, while receiving college and high school credit simultaneously. Shepherd faculty will teach the courses on the main campus in Shepherdstown or at the Shepherd University Martinsburg Center on Edwin Miller Boulevard. College credits will count toward a degree at Shepherd or will transfer to any accredited university. Enroll in courses at the reduced rate of $84 per credit hour.

Blue Ridge CTC

Jefferson County Schools and BRCTC have partnered to offer juniors & seniors several options to take classes for college and high school credit. Plus, high school students receive a discounted tuition rate of $25 per credit hour! Whether you are planning to attend BRCTC, transfer to another College or University, or learn a trade, BRCTC has options available for everyone.
If a full-time schedule isn’t for you, consider the Scholars program. Jefferson County Scholars allows students to begin a college transcript by earning general education courses. Studentshave the option to take coursework after school and online to work around your busy schedule. In addition, English 101 and 102 courses are offered at Jefferson High School as part of a daily class period.

English, Math, Science and History.
