End of year fun :)
Staff got a chance too! Mr. Gill is such a good sport !

Mr. Gill our Interim Principal getting pie'd in the face !!! Our students raised 1,700 dollars from penny wars for Relay for Life. Our grand total was 3,100!!

BRE fourth graders recently culminated a year-long action project that has us ✨buzzing✨ with excitement! Combining community service with campus beautification, students identified a space on the Blue Ridge Campus to plant a community garden to help protect our native pollinators. By installing bee-friendly plants and a Mason Bee House, they created a 🐝bee-autiful🐝 space to benefit pollinators and their school community alike. Future students will continue to learn from these sustainable efforts by annually harvesting cocoons from the bee house. We'd say that's a pretty buzz-worthy way to end the school year! 🌻

We are so proud of our Blue Ridge graduates !!!! Class of 2023, you are going to do amazing things !

Please join us for an inclusive, sensory friendly, end of year celebration. See the attached flyer for the May 25th event at CTMS.

Students at Blue Ridge Elementary School honored Black History Heritage with a schoolwide assembly featuring the Charles Town Middle School choir, under the direction of music teacher Lindsay Dove, accompanied by award-winning gospel composer, singer, and songwriter Maharold Peoples, Jr. The visit marked the second time the CTMS choir was invited to an elementary school to perform two songs of cultural and historical significance, including "Life Every Voice and Sing." For this performance, fourth-grade student McKaila Spencer sang the first verse with an impromptu duet from a student in the audience. Thanks to Mr. Peoples and CTMS for taking the show on the road!

Bus 1207 students will be transported by a different bus and is running a few minutes later than normal.
