MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- JP Lynch, director of bands for Jefferson High School, has been named the West Virginia Band Master of the Year.
Lynch received the award during the West Virginia Music Educators Association Conference earlier this month.
The honor comes in recognition of his successful work with the JHS Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band.
Both were named WV Music Educator Honor Ensembles in 2022.
