Due to the forecasted inclement weather, all Jefferson County Schools extracurricular activities taking place January 6-7 are canceled. This includes extracurricular activities, athletic practices, and competitions taking place at home or away. Any activities that are rescheduled will be communicated at a later date.


REMINDER: All Jefferson County Schools students will be dismissed two hours early this Thursday, December 21, 2023. Winter break begins on Friday and continues all next week. Students will return to class on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Have a safe and restful break.

Congratulations to J-High's own Britt Shoedel! Britt has been named to the 2024 WV All-State Band after his audition last week at Shepherd University. Britt will perform in Charleston in February as part of the West Virginia Music Educators Association conference!


The Jefferson High School Pop Singers and Charisma Dance Ensemble proudly present Holiday Dessert Theatre! Celebrate the season with JHS as students perform "Elf in New York City" on Dec. 9th (10 am, 2 pm, 7 pm), and Dec. 10th (2 pm).
